Objective

Find out what the table thinks of you, by a show of fingers.

Setup

Three or more players sit in a circle. Choose a first player.

Official Rules

Rule 1. The question

Rule 1.1. The first player asks the table a question: "Who is most likely to forget their own birthday?"

Rule 1.2. The Official counts "one, two, three." On three, every player points at the player they think is most likely.

Rule 2. Drinking

Rule 2.1. Every player drinks once for each finger pointing at them.

Rule 2.2. A player may point at themselves. They are counted like anyone else.

Rule 2.3. The player with the most fingers pointing at them asks the next question. On a tie, the tied players ask one each.

Rule 3. Fair questions

Rule 3.1. The same rule as Paranoia: a question must be one the asker would be willing to answer about themselves. Questions meant to humiliate are disallowed, and the asker drinks.

House Rules Register

  • Late pointers drink. A player who points after "three" drinks. Approved.
  • The most-pointed-at player finishes their drink instead of drinking per finger. Approved.
  • Question cards prepared before the party. Approved.

Official Rulings

A player points with both hands at two different players. What counts? Nothing. One hand, one finger, one answer. They drink for the infraction.

A player refuses to point. Allowed? They may abstain. They drink once, for indecision.

Penalties and Signals

  • Count of three. Signal: the Official counts on three fingers, then points straight up.
  • Late point. Penalty: one drink. Signal: infraction (Provision 7.1).

From the Archives

Most Likely To is the only game in this book that can be won by being well-liked and lost by being well-known. The Commission has never been able to determine which is better.

Zero-Proof Option

Play with any non-alcoholic drink. The verdict is the same.
